Keyflow sponsored riders Tim Price, Sir Mark Todd and Jonelle Price were also placed in the top 10 of British Eventing’s Annual Points League; along with up coming rider Franky Reid-Warrilow one of only 10 athletes from Great Britain in the World-Class Podium Potential Programme.
2016 competition highlights include; Jonelle Price with Classic Moet, 3rd at Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials, Tim Price with Ringwood Skyboy, 4th at Land Rover Burghley Horse Trials and Mark Todd with Leonidas II, 4th at Badminton Horse Trials. All three riders were chosen to be on the New Zealand Olympic Team and placed 4th overall in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.
Tim Price says: “Keyflow is fed to all the horses on our yard, from Ringwood Sky Boy who we took to the Rio Olympics, to our emerging youngsters beginning their eventing careers. There’s comfort in knowing that we’re giving our horses the very best in equine nutrition, so they are able to perform consistently and happily, helping them achieve fantastic results.”
He continues: “It can be tricky to manage the energy input/output of these talented individuals, as it’s so important to get the balance of nutrition and accessible energy correct for competition. Keyflow Feeds provide the perfect range of options to get this right every time. Finishing top four in two fours stars and in the Top 10 of the BE league this year is a testament to the hard work of all the entire team.”
Jonelle Price says: “Correct feeding is an integral part of developing these horses and reaching their maximum potential. This year has been an exciting one, our horses feel fantastic on Keyflow and we look forward to continuing the hard work into a successful year ahead.”
Tim Price and Jonelle Price, based in Wiltshire U.K representing New Zealand, have been working with Keyflow Feeds since it’s inception in 2012. Feeding the nutritionally superior range of enhanced digestibility products has improved and maintained their horses’ performance with an excellent year of results.
Keyflow Feeds work with top international riders, supporting their performance horses’ nutritional health. Keyflow had seven riders competing at the 2016 Rio Olympics, including Mark Todd, Tim Price, Jonelle Price as well as John Whitaker and Michael Whitaker for Team GB, Ludwig Svennerstal for Sweden and Rebecca Howard for Canada.
Keyflow Feeds also sponsor professional up and coming riders including Franky Reid-Warrilow; a European Gold medallist and member of the Great Britain Nations cup team in Eventing, who will be one of only 10 athletes from Great Britain in the World-Class Podium Potential Programme.
Franky said: “Being recognised on the World-Class Podium Potential Programme has been a goal of mine since I started riding competitively and it means that I am one step closer to winning a Senior Championship medal.”
The programme is part of UK Sport’s National Lottery funded investment strategy to win medals at the Olympic Games and other International Championships, as well as support the longer term growth of British equestrian sport. The programmes philosophy is to identify talent and support the athletes who they believe have the potential to become podium athletes on the World Stage.
