New Zealand Olympic Rider - Eventing
Kiwi double-olympian, and Badminton 2018 winner Jonelle, has had a rapid rise up the FEI and BE rankings in the past couple of years following some epic results with a string of horses she has worked hard to produce.
She is widely known as “the fastest woman in the world” after clocking the fastest cross country round at WEG 2014 on board the then relatively inexperienced Classic Moet to finish 4th overall, and has claimed back-to-back wins in the CIC*** 8&9 year old class at Blenheim Palace, riding Faerie Dianimo in 2014 and Cloud Dancer in 2015. She has started off the 2018 season with a bang, following a quiet 2017 when she was pregnant, by winning back-to-back CCI4* events, Badminton and Luhmuehlen on Classic Moet and Faerie Dianimo respectively.
Based near Marlborough, Wiltshire, with her husband Tim, Jonelle has a number of horses qualified for WEG 2018, and without a doubt should be considered amongst the favourites to bring home a medal.
