Cheshire Based Flow Rider
Olivia is a passionate young rider based in Cheshire where she runs a livery yard, which allows her to pursue a full time eventing career. She is currently competing up to BE Novice level, which considering she rode round her first event just 4 years ago, is a massive achievement.
Liv comes from a non-horsey background and had to drag her parents ‘kicking and screaming’ into the horsey world when she decided to start riding aged 7. She was encouraged into the eventing circuit whilst working as a groom for Georgie Spence, a 4* eventer, Liv admits that grooming was not her forte and claims to be the worst groom Georgie has ever had but she wouldn’t be where she is today without Georgie’s influence and support, as it was Georgie who convinced her to enter her first event.
Liv currently has a yard of 10 horses, her three main horses being; Downe Right Regal, a 8 year old mare who she is aiming at a CCI* for the end of this year, Split the Wind an 11 year old chestnut mare who has competed up to intermediate/ CCI* level and Sterling V a 7 year old grey gelding owned by Scott Fletcher and Kathy Johnson, he is described as ‘the King of the yard’ and will definitely be one to watch. Unfortunately he is currently being brought back into work after an injury but has previously been selected for the BSJA World Class Equine Pathway and has competed up to BE Novice.
