Eventing’s new Power Couple

A pre-WEG catch up with Tim and Jonelle

New Zealand riders Tim Price and his wife, Jonelle (nee Richards) are two names that are popping up in the British Eventing world more and more – it is almost no longer a surprise to see either of their names splashed across the pages of the equestrian magazines, and now both of them will be competing together, for New Zealand, at Normandy next week.

Jonelle has already been a medal winner – she was part of the Bronze Medal winning NZ team at London 2012, and Tim secured his team spot for WEG when he won Luhmuehlen CCI**** earlier this year.

Franky Reid-Warrilow met with Tim and Jonelle earlier this week. In this interview she digs into the dynamics of this Kiwi power couple, who talk about running a busy yard, competing at big events, and spousal rivalry – they do manage to fit a few compliments about each other in there also!

It has taken years of hard work for Tim and Jonelle to get to this stage in their careers – there are some great snippets of information in this video for anyone wanting to make a business out of their equestrian passion as well.

Keyflow are proud to supply both feed and nutritional guidance to Tim and Jonelle and their team. Find out what Tim’s WEG mount, Wesko, is fed by following this link.
